Questions
ask us anything
If your question isn't answered here, write to us — we'd much rather hear from you than have you wonder.
Dates & Place
- When exactly is the wedding week?
- Monday, June 12 through Thursday, June 15, 2028. The ceremony is on Tuesday, June 13 in the late afternoon.
- Where is it?
- SPAO Borgo San Pietro, a restored medieval hamlet in Allerona, Umbria, Italy — about 1.5–2 hours north of Rome.
- What will the weather be like?
- Umbrian June is warm and dry: days often in the high 20s Celsius (low 80s Fahrenheit), evenings pleasantly cool. Bring a light layer for outdoor dinners.
Travel
- Which airport should I fly into?
- Rome Fiumicino (FCO) is our recommendation; Florence (FLR) also works well. Both are a similar drive.
- How do I get from the airport?
- Private transfer, rental car, or train to Orvieto plus a short taxi. Full detail is on the Travel page.
- When should I arrive and leave?
- Arrive Sunday, June 11 or Monday, June 12; Friday, June 16 is the easiest departure day.
Staying With Us
- Do I need to book a hotel?
- No. The hamlet is exclusively booked for our week and every guest stays on-site in one of its 23 independent suites.
- How are rooms assigned?
- Room assignments are coordinated directly with us. After you RSVP we'll be in touch about who you're travelling with and any accessibility needs.
- Can I bring children or a plus one?
- Your invitation names everyone included in your party. If you're unsure, ask us — we'd rather sort it early.
On the Day
- What should I wear?
- Warm-weather formal for the ceremony and dinner, relaxed for the welcome and pool days. Stone paths and gravel make block heels or flats far kinder than stilettos.
- I have dietary needs — can you accommodate them?
- Yes. Note them in your RSVP and we'll pass everything to the kitchen.
- Will events be indoors or outdoors?
- Mostly outdoors — courtyard, garden, terrace and poolside — with the after party in the cellar. Sheltered alternatives exist for every event.
Everything Else
- Are you doing gifts or a registry?
- Your presence in Italy is genuinely the gift. If you'd still like to mark the occasion, we'll share details closer to the date.
- How do I reach you?
- Email chehakshultswedding@gmail.com — we read everything, even if replies take a few days.
